Israelis return to Turkish resorts

Last August, 68,000 Israelis visited Turkey - twice as many as in August 2016.
These are the data of the Turkish Ministry of Tourism, published this week

. The figures concern only those who stayed in Turkey, and did not fly further on a transit flight.
This means that Israeli tourists are gradually returning to Turkey, where the all-inclusive system still attracts travelers looking for cheapness.
Although up to 500,000 Israelis who visited Turkey in August 2008 are still very far away, there is a clear tendency to increase the number of Israeli tourists in Turkey. As the travel agents say, the Israelis are beginning to understand that differences over political issues do not mean security problems.
Israel's favorite holiday destination in Turkey is Antalya, followed by Bodrum and Marmaris. And if in previous years the Israelis, who were vacationing in Turkey, were mostly Arabs, now the Jewish population, including entire collectives, leaving for corporate rest, acquires permits to Turkish hotels. If the winter does not happen new turmoil, evidence of another deterioration in the relations between Israel and Turkey, next summer, most likely, the Israelis going on vacation to a neighboring not too friendly, but cheap country will become even more.
