Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman took part yesterday in the opening ceremony of the Kinneret preparatory course at the Kibbutz Beit Zera, the first program in which Jews and Christian Arabs study together.

In the course of his speech, the head of the defense department said that the next "reconciliation" between Fatah and Hamas is actually pouring out in exchange for mutual claims and accusations of disrupting this very "reconciliation".

"This is far from the first attempt, and even in public statements, both from Abu Mazen and from the leadership of Hamas, I do not see any common denominator. Abu Mazen says: I am against the Lebanese model, in which we will provide civilian service, and Hamas will manage the territory. And the leaders of Hamas declare: our weapons, our military wing - this is not a topic for negotiations. Well and what is it? This is not reconciliation or negotiation. This is a struggle for public opinion, the continuation of the same struggle between Fatah and Hamas, and nothing more. Let the process go on as usual, but we just need not lose our vigilance, "said Avigdor Lieberman.

The leader of Our Home Israel also sharply opposed the United Arab List, calling it the fifth column and representative of terrorist organizations in the Knesset.

Recall that the head of the United Arab List Ayman Uda said that he called PA Abu Mazen, chairman of the Palestinian Authority, as well as the secretary general of the Hamas politbureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and congratulated them on signing the reconciliation agreement.

"I call on the silent majority of Arab citizens of Israel who are mostly loyal to the state, as well as responsible people, to create in their sector an alternative political leadership that will make it clear that despite the importance of the Palestinian issue for them, they are first and foremost are citizens of the State of Israel, "said Avigdor Lieberman.
