

In Almaty, the "House of Friendship" hosted the XI International Conference "Talks about the Silk Road". This year the participants of the meeting spoke about the main thing - "The World Without War" and why this issue became so urgent for contemporaries.
This is a unique conference, where not politicians and businessmen gather, but poets, scientists and philosophers. Many years ago, the initiator of such meetings was the well-known Kazakhstani culturologist and public figure Murat Auezov. Today the forum brings together the most influential minds of not only Central Asia, but also scholars and cultural figures throughout the Central Asian region.
This year Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Darkhan Mynbay, the head of the international project "Conversations on the Silk Road", cultural expert, public figure Murat Auezov, poet, People's writer of Kazakhstan, public figure, diplomat Olzhas Suleimenov, representatives of state bodies, creative and the humanitarian intelligentsia of the countries of Central Asia, Russia and China, international experts, members of the ANC and ethno-cultural associations.
The Jewish community of Kazakhstan was represented by the president of the Mitsva Association Alexander Baron.
