Jean-Christophe Bellard, Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service, arrived in Azerbaijan.

That J.C.Bellard will hold a series of meetings with the country's officials, including meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

During the meetings, the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union, including the Eastern Partnership program, will be discussed.

Notably, the next Eastern Partnership Summit will be held in Brussels on 24 November.
