A plane of unknown type has crashed into the sea shortly after takeoff from Ivory Costs, media report citing eyewitnesses.

According to the preliminary reports, it might be a search cargo plane of a company that was carrying materials for the French army, Koaci.com reports.

A plane crashed into the sea during the takeoff from the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airpor near Abidjan, Ivory Coast at around 8:30 am local time.
