Netanyahu discussed with Shoigu the Iranian threat

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this morning held a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

As the press service of the prime minister said, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Security Avigdor Lieberman.

The main part of the conversation was devoted to Iran's attempt to strengthen its military presence in Syria.

Prime Minister Netanyahu told Defense Minister Shoigu: "Iran must understand that Israel will not allow this."

The meeting also raised the issue of a nuclear deal with Iran. The head of government said that if the treaty is not changed, Iran will have an arsenal of nuclear weapons within 8-10 years.

As Cursor wrote, during the meeting between the defense ministers of Israel and Russia, in the Tel Aviv military town of Kiriya on October 16, Minister Lieberman said that Israel will not allow the transfer of high-tech weapons from Iran via Syria to Lebanon. "

One of the topics raised during the meeting was a treaty on dual military service (those citizens who served an army service in one country will not have to take military service to another).
