Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan, who was considered one of the main figures sponsoring the separatist regime created in the Armenian-occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, has died aged 68.

Hayrapetyan was one of the richest activists of the Armenian Diaspora throughout the world.

Hayrapetyan will be buried in Moscow.
