The units of the IDF, together with the General Security Service (SHABAK) and members of the civil administration of the IDF, conducted a large-scale operation on Wednesday night, October 18, against Palestinian media suspected of inciting terror.
During the operation, in which the regional brigades of Samaria, Binyamin, Etzion and Judea participated, eight broadcast stations and studios serving media such as Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa TV, which were outlawed by the order of the commander of the Central district.
From the offices, equipment and documents were seized. In addition, two people were detained on suspicion of inciting terror.
The press service of the IDF stressed that the operation is part of the comprehensive approach to the fight against terror conducted by the Israeli security services.
Also, last night, 18 residents of the Palestinian Autonomy, who were wanted on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities, were detained.
