The Planning and Construction Committee of the Tel-Aviv District today approved a plan for the construction of the fourth tower, Azrieli, which will be built on the ruins of the legendary Yediot Ahronot complex in Tel Aviv. It is proposed to expand Azrieli shopping center north to Moses Street.
The tower will have 90 floors, with many offices and shops. It will be the second tallest in Israel. The fourth tower was planned to be built in 2015, but then they were going to build a 50-storey building. 49 floors of the new tower will be allocated for business, and the rest will accommodate 240 apartments of 100 square meters, 60 apartments of 65 square meters for young couples, and 200 more apartments - diur mugan.
The width of the sidewalks around the building will be increased from 3 to 8 meters for the convenience of pedestrians and cyclists. A café will be located around the center, trees will be planted along Begin and Moses streets.
