Israeli company City Transformer designed and assembled the first folding electric car.
At the click of a button, the wheelbase of the "City Transformer" decreases from 1.48 m to 1 m.

Thanks to this, the car occupies no more space in the parking lot than a motorcycle.
Double electric car develops speed up to 90 km / h. City Transformer is equipped with an aluminum chassis. The weight of an electric car without a battery is only 450 kg. The developers have not yet decided which battery to equip the machine with.
The base model will cost about $ 10 thousand. The estimated cost does not include the battery and taxes.
The company plans to develop a three-seat model designed for one adult and two children, as well as a single version.
The novelty will be presented at the international exhibition Fuel Choices and Smart Mobility Summit, which will be held on October 31 and November 1 in Tel Aviv.
