Political advisor and son-in-law of President Donald Trump Jared Kouchner, as well as special envoy to promote the peace process, Jason Greenblatt, last week secretly visited Saudi Arabia.

According to the newspaper "Haaretz", the American delegation included the deputy head of the National Security Council (NSC) of the United States, Dina Powell.

The Americans discussed with the high-ranking officials of the Saudi Kingdom the Israeli-Palestinian peace initiative of the US President.

The visit was not mentioned in the press releases of the White House, however, on the evening of October 29, the portal of the informed edition of Politico reported on the trip of Kouchner and his colleagues.

After this publication, the White House confirmed the visit of the American delegation to Riyadh. In August, the three leading advisors to the US president had already visited Saudi Arabia and other countries of the Middle East region.
