President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Algerian People's Democratic Republic, His Excellency Mr Abduelaziz Bouteflika.

The letter reads:

"Dear Mr. President,

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you and all your people on the national holiday of the Algerian People's Democratic Republic - the Revolutionary Day.

I believe that the friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Algeria will continue to develop and expand in line with the interests of two countries.

On this remarkable day, I wish you good health, success in your activities, and peace and prosperity to the friendly Algerian people. "
